Now a days it is hard to get pure air especially when you are living in big metro cities like Delhi NCR, Mumbai Or even if you are living in small city like Kanpur (which is BTW is the most polluted city in the world according to a survey by "WHO"). Due to increase in pollution, people in these cities are facing a lot of health issues. This ultimately result in loss of lifes, various breathe related issues etc. Can we do anything about it? The answers is "YES!". How? By taking a responsibility on individual basis to make arrangement for their own O2. Is it hard? Not at all. We all can take our own responsibility, Right? Snake Plants, or Sansevieria (otherwise known as Mother-in law's tongue) is a easy to maintain houseplant with a height upto two meter long. It is hardy plant & does not require much care, you simply need to placed it in a tolerable bright light or even in direct sunlight for few hours. Do not overwater it.

Common Names : Snake Plant, Mother-in laws tongue
Toxins removed : Formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, benzene and xylene
Water Requirement : Low water requirement (Water when top layer of potting mix dried)
Potting Mix : Coco Peat 30%, Vermicompost 30%, Garden soil 30%, Perlite/Vermiculite/Pumice stone 10% and fungicide 1/4 tsp
Light Condition : Tolerable bright light/Filtered sunlight/low light
Varieties : Around 70 varieties, but commercially are Sansevieria Trifasciata, Sansevieria twist, Sansevieria robusta
